I enrolled in every class available that enabled me to spend time at Prescott College’s field station, the Center for Cultural and Ecological Studies, in Bahia Kino, Sonora, Mexico.

Originally from South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Amy Bannon (18’) decided to make the trip across the country to attend at Prescott College because of the College’s emphasis on experiential education.
Christopher Broughton-Bossong completed his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Wildlife Conservation and has continued his studies through the Master of Arts in Environmental Studies at Prescott College.
After finishing his B.A. at Prescott College, Colin worked as a Crop Curator at Native Seeds/SEARCH in Tucson, and Patagonia, Arizona, and as a biologist in an environmental consulting firm in San Diego, California.

This experience is the most adventurous and experiential learning thing I have done in my whole life. I wouldn’t trade that trip for class time, ever.

"The way learning is approached at Prescott College is so empowering. The trust and confidence the program placed in me, as a scholar, made me feel that much more confident in my own abilities to set my own course and direct my own process."
